Hydraulic joints are connecting components between hydraulic pipelines or between pipelines and hydraulic components. Hydraulic joints include hydraulic joints for hoses and hydraulic joints for hard pipes. Here, only hydraulic joints for hoses are introduced. One end of the hydraulic hose joint is connected to the hydraulic hose (called the tail end), and the other end is connected to other components (terminal). In order to ensure compatibility and leak free sealing with other components, the terminal of the hydraulic hose joint needs to be designed according to universal interface standards. The main function of the tail end is to ensure long-term sealing between the joint and the hose connection.<\/p>

From the form of the interface, it can be divided into the following types: 1. O-ring end face sealed hose joint

When nut 5 is screwed into the external thread of the connector body, with the increase of tightening torque, the end face of the hose connector and the connector body (part 4) come into contact and are compressed. The O-ring on the end face of connector 4 undergoes elastic deformation, fully contacts with the end faces of parts 6 and 4, and generates pressure, playing a sealing role.<\/p>

2. 24 \u00b0 cone sealed end hose connector<\/p>

1. Hose joint 2. O-ring 3. Oil port 4. Joint 5. Nut. When nut 5 is screwed into the external thread of the joint body (part 4), with the increase of tightening torque, the outer conical surface of the hose joint contacts and presses against the inner conical surface of the joint body (part 4). The O-ring of the outer conical surface of hose joint 1 undergoes elastic deformation, fully contacts with the conical surfaces of parts 6 and 4, and generates a large pressure, playing a sealing role. Due to the lever effect of the conical surfaces, the pressure between the conical surfaces is greater, and the sealing effect is theoretically better.<\/p>

3. Flange end hose connector<\/p>

1. Hose connector 2 Oil port, flange head, flange pressure plate 3. O-ring. The flange head of the hose joint is pressed against the oil port by the flange pressure plate. When the tightening torque of the bolt increases, the bolt generates a large pre tightening force. The pre tightening force of the bolt passes through the flange pressure plate, tightly pressing the flange head against the oil port. The O-ring (part 3) on the flange head is deformed due to the pressure. The flange head end face of the hose joint (part 1) is fully in contact with the oil port surface and generates pressure, which plays a sealing role. Due to the use of high-strength bolts, the pressure between the contact surfaces is very high, and the sealing effect is theoretically very good.<\/p>

4. Screw end hose connector<\/p>

The root of the joint thread is equipped with an O-ring. When the joint is connected to the oil port through the thread, the O-ring fits tightly with the end face of the oil port to provide a sealing effect. 5.37 \u00b0 flared end hose connector

When nut 2 is screwed into the external thread of the joint body (part 1), with the increase of tightening torque, the outer conical surface of the hose joint contacts and presses against the inner conical surface of the steel pipe (part 3). The conical surfaces of hose joint 1 and 3 fully contact and generate a large pressure, playing a sealing role. Due to the lever effect of the conical surfaces, the pressure between the conical surfaces is greater. In the process of selecting hydraulic pipe joints, various factors such as the maximum working pressure, working temperature, interface size, applicable pipe inner and outer diameter size, installation convenience, and economy need to be considered.
