What is the difference between oxygen hose and acetylene hose?

Oxygen hoses and acetylene hoses have different colors and working pressure standards. The working pressure of oxygen hoses is higher than that of acetylene hoses, so oxygen hoses are more sturdy. According to standards, oxygen hoses are blue and acetylene hoses are red. The working pressure of oxygen hoses is 1.5MPa, with an inner diameter of 8mm and an outer diameter of 18mm. Acetylene hoses are black, with a working pressure of 0.3MPa, an inner diameter of 8mm, and an outer diameter of 16mm.

Safety precautions for oxygen and acetylene hoses:

The joints and pipelines of the hose should be strictly prevented from leakage. Oxygen and acetylene hoses should be blown clean before connection, and only after confirming that there is no water inside the hose can they be used. Do not use oxygen to blow off blockages in acetylene gas hoses to prevent the formation of a mixture of oxygen and acetylene inside the hoses.
If the acetylene hose falls off, ruptures or catches fire during use, the welding gun flame should be extinguished first, and then the gas supply should be stopped.
Acetylene and oxygen hoses should avoid contact with grease or metal solutions during operation
Avoid exposing acetylene and oxygen hoses to sunlight, high temperature baking, rain and snow, and prevent acid, ammonia, oil, and organic solvents from coming into contact with the hoses
Leaked hoses should not be repaired, but should be shortened to remove damaged parts. Appropriate and correct tools and equipment designed for this task should be used for shortening and modification, and screw tight connectors should not be used as their use increases the risk of leakage due to excessive tightening
