The correct use of rubber hoses
Reasonable storage, maintenance, and cleaning are crucial to ensure that the hoses we provide you with have a longer lifespan. If stored, used, and maintained improperly, most rubber hoses will change their physical properties. For example, excessive hardening, softening, deformation, swelling, cracking, or other surface damage can shorten its service life and even render it unusable.
Storage article:
1. When storing rubber hoses, especially during long-term storage, the physical properties of the hoses may change when exposed to certain factors. These changes may cause the hoses to no longer have good usability. When storing, the hoses should be protected and follow the principle of first in, first out;
2. The storage area must be dry, cool, dust-free, not affected by climate, and have humidity and ventilation; It is necessary to avoid direct sunlight and high-power artificial light sources with ultraviolet components;
3. The storage temperature should be between 0 ℃ and 35 ℃, and it is recommended to be around 15 ℃. During storage, the limit should not exceed 50 ℃ and should not be lower than -30 ℃;
4. Do not store in contact with materials that may harm the product, especially acids, oils, solvents, etc;
5. Products should not be stored in close proximity to heat sources, as prolonged storage can cause rubber aging and reduce the lifespan of hoses;
6. There should be no equipment near the storage area that can generate electric or magnetic fields, as changes or fluctuations in the electromagnetic field can generate current and heat in the metal;
7. Do not subject the product to excessive pressure, avoid contact with sharp, pointed, or corrosive surfaces, and store it on shelves as much as possible;
The coiled rubber hoses should be stored flat. When stacking is unavoidable, the stacking height should be limited to the extent that the bottom product does not deform excessively. A protective cap should be inserted at the open end of the hose to prevent internal contamination.
Usage article:
Before use, please make sure to confirm if there are any abnormalities in the appearance of the hose. If there are any abnormalities, please isolate it immediately and confirm with relevant technical personnel.
1. When using the hose, it should not exceed the working pressure and temperature specified by the product. Exceeding the pressure or temperature will reduce the service life of the hose and even cause pipe bursting, resulting in safety accidents;
2. The medium used must be chemically compatible with the product, otherwise it may cause corrosion of the hose and reduce its service life;
3. Do not bend the hose below the allowable bending radius, and do not forcefully twist or bend the hose before use; In order to ensure the normal use of the pipe fittings, the distance between the bent part and the fittings must be greater than twice the outer diameter of the rubber hose;
Do not drag on sharp or highly frictional surfaces, and do not twist or flatten them;
Cleaning section (food hygiene industry):
1. Before the first use, it is necessary to clean the inside of the hose, fill the hose with hot water at 70 ℃ -80 ℃, let it sit for at least 10 hours, and then drain the hose;
2. For routine cleaning, our recommendations are as follows:
★ 90 ℃ hot water cleaning, no more than 20 minutes each time
★ Saturated steam at 130 ℃ for no more than 30 minutes
★ 0.5% -2% nitric acid solution at 60 ℃ -80 ℃
1% -3% sodium hydroxide solution at 60 ℃ -80 ℃
After each steam cleaning, it needs to be cooled to room temperature, and after being treated with chemical cleaning agents, it must be rinsed with water
