Hydraulic hose: a key role in hydraulic systems
Hydraulic hose plays a vital role in the hydraulic systems of many industrial fields.
Structurally, it is generally composed of an inner rubber layer, a reinforcement layer and an outer rubber layer. The inner rubber layer is responsible for direct contact and transmission of hydraulic oil and other media, and must have good oil resistance and sealing properties; the reinforcement layer is mostly made of steel wire weaving or winding, like a layer of solid “armor” for the hose, which greatly improves its pressure resistance and ensures that it can withstand the high-pressure environment when the hydraulic system is working; the outer rubber layer mainly plays a protective role, resisting external friction, corrosion and harsh environmental factors.
In terms of application, excavators and loaders in engineering machinery rely on hydraulic hoses to transmit hydraulic power and achieve various flexible movements. It is also indispensable in the automated production line of automobile manufacturing to ensure the stable operation of hydraulic devices.
However, hydraulic hoses also need careful maintenance. Regularly check their appearance for damage and bulging, avoid excessive bending and twisting, and install and store them correctly as required, so as to extend their service life and continue to help the hydraulic system operate efficiently and safely.
