Several important automotive hoses

1. Car cooling water pipe

The main function of the car cooling system is to dissipate the heat absorbed by the heated parts in a timely manner, ensuring that the engine operates at the most suitable temperature state. The cooling water hose is a flexible pipeline that connects the car engine and radiator. Its main function is to transport coolant, dissipate heat, and ensure the safe and normal operation of the engine.

At present, the working temperature of cooling water hoses in China has reached 125 ℃, and they are produced using sulfur vulcanized EPDM rubber. The hose includes a three-layer structure of inner liner (EPDM), reinforcement layer, and outer layer (EPDM).

2. Automotive air conditioning hose

The inner rubber layer of the car air conditioning hose is made of EPDM rubber, the reinforcement layer is woven with polyester fibers, and the outer rubber layer is made of EPDM, extruded and wrapped. It has the advantages of low permeability and high temperature resistance, and can be used in environments of -40~140 ℃, and even in high temperature environments of 160 ℃. Automotive air conditioning hose is a hose product with high technical requirements, and its key technical indicator is low permeability.

3. Automotive brake hose

In addition to being resistant to brake fluid, automotive brake hoses must also have good aging resistance and moisture permeability. Previously, the material used for the inner rubber layer of automotive brake hoses was mainly styrene butadiene rubber. Recently, due to the emergence of maintenance free cars, the increase in operating temperature of brake fluids, and the use of high boiling point brake fluids, there is a trend for EPDM rubber or EPDM/butyl rubber to replace styrene butadiene rubber.

Qinghe Great Wall EPDM rubber hoses are all produced using imported EPDM rubber, which has good wear resistance, aging resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and good air tightness. After being immersed in superheated steam at 230 ℃ for nearly 100 hours, the appearance remains unchanged; Mainly used for conveying water, air, antifreeze, steam, and weak acidic and alkaline liquids in parts such as automobiles, mechanical water tanks, engines, radiators, and warm air heaters.
